Pippa Marias (Live @ 11.40)
- now residents of Dalston, these Swedish guitar/electro-popsters blast out big synth lines, hook-laden guitars and swaggering attitude. "it sounds like zdar/cassius/phoenix style french dance pop, but with more of an edge. then you realise it's because they're Swedish and, as we all know, the swedes own good, dance-inflected pop music" said best of myspace's gill mills.
The Suzuki Method (Live @ 11)
- Suzuki Method have accomplished the unlikely feat of marrying the polar worlds of hard rock and eighties dance. Like Queens Of The Stone Age transplanted to the Hacienda, Suzuki Method are a band that hits you in the solar plexus, while simultaneously energizing your dancing feet They have pitched themselves as true rock 'n' roll outsiders destined to gatecrash the Manchester and UK music scene in 2012.
Colin Peters (Ibiza Rocks / We Love Space)
- Colin Peters is an infamous resident DJ in Ibiza who also plays in other salubrious parts of Europe and beyond. Colin became famous for his sets at 7am in the Coco Loco at Manumission where he mixed anything from rock, disco, TV theme tunes and electro. Colin was resident for 5 years at Carry On, the consistently amazing Tuesday morning party for Manumission at Space and at Ibiza Rocks. For the last three years Colin has been playing at Rock Nights in Ibiza which started as a small get together for friends and has now grown into one of the best parties on the island, as well as regular smash appearances at Sunday's We Love Space over this summer.
Steve Harris (Xfm)
- Steve is king of Xfm's Evening Show, weeknights between 7pm and 10pm, delivering interviews with touring bands and selecting new tunes that are bubbling up. He's played some great DJ sets for us at Casino Royale and One Party State, so we've made him a resident on every 2nd Saturday!
Jeff Automatic (One Party State)
- over summer, Jeff played at Space in Ibiza and four nights with Silent Disco at Benicassim festival, plus co-hosting the dance stage at Reading Festival. As well as his other trips to European clubs, he's recently been playing in London at The Nest and Queen Of Hoxton.
Ed Wilder (Club NME)
- As well as being a resident at Koko's Club NME, a support DJ for the Killers at their recent Scala warm-up shows and the only DJ we know to have played at the top of the BT Tower, Ed has been on fire when it comes to his remixes, which you really should check out:
