OK, lets have some info on the DJs. All of which will be dishing out their own variety of Old Skool or Classics. Please don’t expect a day of progression… This is Alumni, chaos reigns!
Because we’ve crammed the line up some of the sets will be real old skool and shorter in length. This free ups DJs for drinking the punch… rumour has it new recipe will make its appearance at the 9th Birthday! Oh and last but not least the FA Cup Semi Final will be on the Big Screen upstairs so don’t worry about missing the game. Come and party and keep tabs on the score between cutting a rug on the dancefloor!
So up first and making his Alumni debut is Tuffcub.
Tuffcub ran the world’s biggest mash up MP3 site back in the first days of the internet and has been on the run from the authorities ever since. He was also part of the team behind Riot! at The End, featured on the Nukleuz Hardbeat series . He was also the evil genius behind the UK chart topping Clubland Smashed mix series for which he mashed and remixed Armand Ven Helden, Scooter, Akon, Duck Sauce, Energy 52, and yes, Dannii Minogue.
Up next is Adam Symbiosis. Adam is no stranger around these parts and held the esteemed title as Zoology resident in the closing years of the party; Now one of the guiding forces behind the rather special Lost Dawn parties and known face behind the decks all over London.
Matt Church was resident and Swamp and Puzzle Project as well as the brains behind Red Sky Digital. Now DJing all over the place with upcoming sets in Ibiza, we love him, you love him and he is perfect to finish the party off!
Andy Harkin or Sleepless Andy to others is, unsurprisingly, the man behind the legendary Sleepless parties. Andy played at the very first Alumni and we plan to have him play for us for many years yet.
Guy Garrett who may be known to some for his cracking work with DMC, will be known to others for his amazing Alumni sets. This man has caused more chaos on the dance floor than a fifty pound note glued to the floor!
Ped is another Alumni alumnus… Supporting and playing for the party since its earlier days, Ped understands exactly what makes the Alumni crowd move unlike the bar staff who only know how to make the Alumni crowd fall over!
Paul Zykotik… Yes played for us loads, part of the furniture, holds the record for fairy cakes eaten in one sitting and a rather cracking DJ as well.
Mista Twisa… Erm, our mate Paul. Don’t really have much info on him other than that he is a total dude with impeccable taste in music and just the man to get the party started.
Last up you have Latex Zebra and B.S.E. Because they’re residents and one of them writes this, nothing amazing ever gets said about them.
Well not this time. Both are awesome and super cool. Women want them and men want to be them, animals see them as alpha predators and scientists want to know what makes them tick.
