Mixing elements of electro, dance, new wave and old school rock, Lithuania’s number one electronic act, Happyendless, are proud owners of a silver globe from the MTV EMA´s as BEST BALTIC ACT. Comprising of a Solo singer, DJ and trumpet player, they combine a wealth of experience and influences mixed with an Eastern European flavour that’s creating a large buzz among the Baltic States and beyond.
The groups first single ‘Power Forever’ won almost all of the Lithuanian music and video awards, broke all national download records and reached the number 1st position on all possible radio and TV charts in the country.
After the success at the MTV European awards, Happyendless have gathered the reputation as a group who is hot in emerging markets as 16 European MTV channels put the groups 2 videos on constant rotation.
Early 2009 saw Happyendless being selected to warm up for the legendary Depeche Mode show in Lithuania’s capital Vilnius.
In September of 2009 Happyendless who had been busy in the studio, released the single ‘Sweet Sweet Super Sweet’ which went straight in at number 3 on the national dance music radio ZIP FM as well as spending 11 weeks in the top 5 on Radiocentras radio (the biggest commercial radio station in Lithuania).
The Happyendless members are well known music producers in various media around the country. Ranging from music, theatre and cinema projects they wrote the track ‘Three Millions’ for the Lithuanian basket ball team which is often called the second anthem of Lithuania’.
Recently they proved the score for the Lithuanian cult movie “Zero 2” which managed to net them “Best soundtrack” at the annual Lithuanian movie awards.
With three impressive and spectacular video single releases under their belt and a debut album ‘Room for Mistakes’ being well received, the band performs on stager as a six piece live show deliver what is essential the sound of new Lithuania.
New Album ‘Cinema’ has been released in December 2011.
