The Gallery has always been home to the world’s leading DJs. It is of course the only London club where you’ll get to hear the likes of Paul Van Dyk, Armin Van Buuren, Tiesto, Paul Oakenfold, Ferry Corsten and Judge Jules playing on a regular basis. Having lasted the test of time (well over 11½ years to be exact!), the club wouldn’t have done this without the help of a special bunch of DJs, lovingly known as The Gallery Residents. These guys are Turnmills devotees and in large have been with the club since the day the doors opened for the first time. One such fellow is of course Paul Newman aka Tall Paul. The larger than life character did in fact DJ at the first every Gallery event back in April 1995 and to this day remains one of the most important DJs at the club. With Sister Bliss returning in the Winter and Steve Lee not playing until the end of the month, the other residents on display this week are Sander Van Doorn, John Askew and Gavyn Mytchel. The Gallery are proud to have cherry-picked Sander Van Doorn a few years back, when no-one had really heard of him, and since then he’s now played the main room at Turnmills over 10 times!! The rest of the world are now catching on and dance bible Mixmag for example have just tipped him to be the next big thing. The feel good vibes continue in T2 where new backroom hosts Dirtbox present their first night of filthy, acid-edged beats. Kicking things off, Dirtbox have invited hot UK producer Tom Neville down to unleash the sort of sleazy house bleeps that have made him so popular. Dirtbox residents Alex Collings and Pete Whitehouse also play, with support from Chris Vaux & Simon Blann b2b and Tim Cullen. Meanwhile in T3, Vaccine return to the mix - fresh from taking over the whole club in September. This month the trance specialists present The New Breed, featuring more international stars of the future. Get your dancing shoes on ready for Sean Tyas, Jochen Miller and Niklas Harding, with support from Vaccine super residents The Viceroy and Ben Beaton, plus rising star Frase. Remember where you heard them first! To become a Gallery Membership, call Tom on 020 7250 3409 or email tom@turnmills.co.uk
