Fitting between the grooves of dance, reggae & hip-hop styles, the Freestylers craft a raw, yet infectious aural melting pot that shakes dancefloors & headphones around the globe.
The success of 2003’s ‘Raw As Fuck’ and the stand out single and Top 20 hit, ‘Push Up’ has seen them perform everywhere from Ibiza to Ipswich, Prague to Peterborough, finding time to wow the crowd at Glastonbury and tour America along the way.
“Pressure Point’s” cohesive cross -genre pollination indeed makes it one of the year’s best dance albums - reminiscent of Shaggy and Fatboy Slim hanging together on a beach. Funky pop gone dancehall - true to the Freestylers versatility – deep, party-rockin’, soulful and pop-savvy at once.
Remixes including, most recently projects for Soul Hooligan (a new act on Maddona’s label) and Azzido Da Bass.
"Our sound is pretty raw - but as we've both got pretty eclectic tastes we bring a whole spectrum of influences from the seventies onwards. Hip-hop heads come to see us," continues Aston. "But so do ravers, reggae fans... it's quite mad really - two funky white boys bringing all these people together".
