Cyclone presents The Hard Dance Anthems Tour featuring Rob Tissera.
Following on from the first event of the new semester on Friday 24th September, Cyclone will be gracing the main section of Rubix (or Union for those who are still getting used to the new name) on Saturday 16th October 2004!! Joining Cyclone will be the Nukleuz Hard Dance Anthems 2004 CD Tour, and we are honoured to have the internationally renowned hard dance DJ and producer Rob Tissera headlining our event!
Rob Tissera is without doubt one of the most popular and highly rated DJ\'s working in the UK\'s club scene, with residencies at Slinky, Sundissential and Frantic. He is signed to the world-renowned Nukleuz DJ Agency and is as busy as ever playing in Ibiza all summer before returning for Godskitchen, Global Gathering, Creamfields and Hard House Academy. Rob\'s production career began with him working as Quake, remixing scores of big tracks including Top 40 hits by Armin, ATFC, York and Blank & Jones. He has also mixed the Hard House Anthems compilation for Nukleuz and Goodgreef\'s recent 2nd compilation. – (Extract from www.nukleuz.co.uk )
If the fact that Nukleuz and Rob joining Cyclone isn\'t enough to persuade you to come along, then here\'s some more details:
1) Nukleuz have specifically chosen to stage one of their CD tour events with Cyclone at USSU, as they view our event as one of a select group of successful and innovative hard dance events in the country
2) This event is EXCLUSIVE to Cyclone in Surrey. No other club in the county will be staging this tour event.
3) Multi coloured laser show. Yes! As this is a one off event we shall be hiring an awesome and spectacular multi coloured laser.
4) Cheap tickets. For a similar event in London, or at one of the superclubs across the country, you will be looking at paying in the region of £10-£15 for a ticket. However, Cyclone are selling tickets in advance for only £4 each or 3 for £10, or £5 on the night. Details of how to get advance tickets is listed below.
5) Free stuff! We all love free stuff so Cyclone will be giving away T-shirts, CDs and posters provided by Nukleuz, plus of course there will be the usual sweets handout - it is a party afterall!
Add to this a night of immense house, trance and hard dance then you know it makes sense to get yourself down to dance floor in Rubix on Saturday 16th October for the first ever Cyclone event in the main section of the club! Remember, this event is all about YOU - the students - and it is going to prove to be a wild night!
Ticket details:
Although we will not be getting our printed tickets for the event until Friday 24th September, we shall start taking advanced sales during the Freshers Fare on Wednesday 22nd September. We will be running a scheme whereby once you\'ve paid all you need to do is give your name to one of the Cyclone representatives at the main door to Rubix on the night. Therefore, come on down to the Dance Music Society stall at the fare to ensure you guarantee yourself entry! From Friday advanced tickets will be on sale from the Rubix reception. Plus they will also be on sale from the Cyclone event in the HRB on Friday 24th September also.
If the atmosphere during Dan Bailey\'s house and trance set at the Rubix launch party is anything to go by then it goes without saying that Cyclone on Saturday 16th October will be one hell of a party!!
See you on the dancefloor!
