Good parties are always build-it-and-they-will-come affairs. If promoters take the time to understand what it is they are trying to achieve and develop a theme, find the appropriate venue, work with lighting and decoration crews that buy-in to the project and craft a DJ line-up to enhance these elements then invariably an event occurs where the vibe and atmosphere truly reflects the hard work and dedication of all those all involved.
This is the approach that the Tribal Village crew have taken, many of them veterans of the psy-trance party circuit, understanding the fundamentals of what makes a night one where you go home already thinking about the next one and it was what they saw was currently missing from the London scene that provided their impetus. For London is unique, very few cities providing such a melting pot of cultures with the best parties capturing this diversity and celebrating it.
So that whether you be on the dancefloor whooping it up or chilling with a cup of chai the experience of just being a part of this uniqueness generates a spirit that is enlightening. For many, this consciousness had slipped from view but now it has returned with two previous successful Tribal Gathering actualisations and soon it shall be time for another, Saturday 21st of September, 2013. Crucifix Lane, in the archways of SE1, the venue for two rooms of tribal music featuring DJs and live acts from exotic destinations, stalls, healing areas, performers and a chai bar. Laser shows by Subsonic Systems, Fluffy Flower Decorations from Germany and Amazing Visual Deco by Late Blossom.
