Picture the scene…....
You walk into the room, soft, plush leather couches scattered around. Silhouettes are chatting, chilling, dancing, enjoying the ambience… After taking in the surroundings you approach the bar for a drink and spot your landing… Sinking into the low slung couch, relaxation sets in, and for the first time that day since waking up - you feel comfortable. Enough to totally unwind and ease yourself into the weekend. Thoughts about the night ahead begin to generate inside your mind & the cute stranger across the room smiles at you, only looking away after a moment.
The memories of the working week past have totally subsided and while the room begins to fill up with converse – you can feel an energy building up inside you. Subliminally your own thoughts are being distracted. Not by the drink, not by the blunt you smoked earlier, not even by that cute stranger you keep locking eyes with, but by the sounds that are nibbling at the lobes of your ears and licking their way into your aural cavity to stimulate your entire being. Realisation sets in – you begin to understand where you are and what you’re here for. You’re indulging in simplicities that make you feel good, your favourite drink, being surrounded by awesome people, and being exposed to the “Blissed ‘n Twisted” beats. Welcome… to Comfortably Numb – Let the good times do what they do best~!

We all knew it was coming – and they just seem to be coming more quickly… but when the good times keep rolling - who cares what year it is~!
Comfortably Numb would like to welcome everyone to '05 and now that most of you have managed to pick up the pieces after December & NYE’s antics – let’s get back to the program~! We’re pretty psyched for the year ahead and with the choice of new venues, and monthly events coming up, it means more opportunities for us to provide quality nights to you quality people.
1st on the cards this year, to ease you into the set-up comfortably, is “Still Blissed – Always Twisted~!” – This event will take place on the 4th of March at The Bear in Clerkenwell and with the new venue comes a slightly different time to party. Instead of ending at 11pm – We have extended the event until 1am which means the Comfortably Numb experience will progress further into the night while taking you deeper into the Vibe. The beats as usual will be “Blissed ‘n Twisted House Music”
Most of you will be pretty fired up by 1am and with the Venue being 3 minutes away from Turnmills & Fabric – you’ll be warmed up nicely to hit the choice of clubs in the area.
