Label: Progressive State
Format: 12" Vinyl
Genre: Hard Trance

The latest track from Switzerland's always thriving hard trance scene and who better then the leading proponents DJ Spoke and Progressive State Records.

Side A features the DJ Spoke and Vespa 63 mix and if you are familar with any of their previous fare you will know what to expect. It is a thunderous production of poudingly hard trance - tough kicks, driving bass, all sorts of twisted noises going off, and then out of nowhere comes a huge synth stab that will stop any dancefloor in it's tracks. The mix won't score too highly on the uplifting-ometer, but what it lacks in euphoria it more than makes up for in sheer presence.

Side B features the more uplifting and slightly more serene Club Mix, not that you should for one moment be lulled into thinking this is namby-pamby trance! The tough kick and driving bass is still present and correct, however there is now a huge 'hair on back of neck' stylee breakdown with lush pads, massive lead synths, snare rolls and bundles of energy. This mix will be a favourite with many.

For me the release as a whole is let down by the A side simply being too fierce, but the B side is a definte winner.
