» Recoverworld Live Vol.1

Reviewed by Simon Trundle / Submitted 25-04-03 14:47

Label: Recover
Format: 2 x CD
Genre: Hard Trance

Having proved their stature in the scene time and time again, Recover now unleash their first cd compilation album representing a taste of the hugely successful nights run by the crew. Label founder Pablo Gargano provides the content for the first cd from the digital front, taking some truly class tracks to the studio desk and remixing them with style. Featuring massive releases such as Hydra's 'Affinity', Black Hole artist Misja Helsoot's 'First Second' and K90's 'Chemical Love' alongside DJ Virus, John Askew, Wavestorm and more, rest assured this will make for some quality listening material. The second of the two cd's on offer here is actually mixed live by label manager Simon Eve, who takes the crowd on a journey through some belting trance and hard house cuts. Kicking off with tracks such as Katana's 'Dulce Vita', Wav Assassin and Signum, then progressing further into harder territories with Jon Langford's 'Confess', an unreleased DMF solo offering and finishing off with the mighty K90's 'Red Snapper' remixed by Jon Doe, this truly is a sweet all-rounder and a belting warm-up for a night ahead!

I've got it and it's great. Euphoric at Moderate Volume, Bangin' at Hi Volume and Chilling at Low Volume.
