A mate, has recently applied for a loan with a company.
He has a blemished record but only just slightly, but he still choose not to disclose that to the lender...but they are not bothered...its one of those whatever your circumstances places.
After 5 minutes, and a few rapid quick fire questions, they have told him he has been approved for a £10k loan. Now he has to send £49.50, to have the money in his bank the following week and have signed the agreement enclosed with the cheque.
Once the agreement arrives, he signed it, written and signed the cheque pops it back in the post.
3 days ago, 4 days after the loan was approved, he gets a third party offering him only £2k. He has tried to contact the loan company through their website and can only get hold of the application department, who will not help him further.
The company (YES LOANS) is a brokerage not a lender as it is advertised. Please don't fall into the same trap, this aint a joke!
