(didn't really apply anywhere else:P)
I have a new album, which came with a Dolby 5.1 surround soundmix on the special DVD and therefore has to play through the dvd player or whatever.
I was wondering, do CD's hold the dolby information, would I be able to rip it (i can extract the tracks myself from the DVD) onto a CD and still have the surround sound quality?
Cheers
Natalie

In my case, self-absorption is completely justified. I have never discovered any other subject quite so worthy of my attention.
